Question on power tools?
I am looking to buy a kit ( Drill, Sawsall, Circular Saw, Grinder, etc ) Milwaukee is too expensive, I am looking at either DeWalt, Makita, or Bosch. I’ve used Makite and DeWalt and liked both but Bosch is way cheaper. What should I get?
Depends on what you plan to do with them and how often you will use them. Milwaukee or DeWalt are worth the money if you will use them every day, but are overkill for the average home owner or weekend handyman. If you’re in the later catagory I also recomend you check out Skil as being excellent quality at about half the price of DeWalt. I’ve never been disappointed with Makita tools either. By and large once you decide how much you’re willing to spend which brand you get is a personal decision. It comes down to how it feels in your hands. Which tools do you feel has the most comfortable grip? Is the trigger and safety switch spacing comfortable for your fingers?
